Crackin’ Good Crab

Ahoy! Just got back from Florida did you? Well so did the crabs…Fresh Stone Crab that it! Jumbo Stone Crab Claws from Fort Myers, Florida served chilly, just the way we like them, with the traditional mustard sauce for dipping.  Skippy (the crab guy) uses his own fleet and licensed crabbers to haul these crustaceans out of the ocean.  Sustainable? You bet they are! One claw is removed leaving the crab alive and snapping, as it’s thrown back into the water to re-grow.  Ask your shucker to “crack you a claw” and put it on your oyster plate. $18 for a claw that’s as big as a babies arm.
