“Oyster bars in Toronto owe their genesis to Rodney Clark.” -Toronto Star, Jan. 26, 2008
Rodney Clark, “The Oysterman”, has presented and celebrated oysters in downtown Toronto for over twenty years. He started his adventures in “the big smoke” working as a graphic artist. When the oyster parties became too much for him with to keep up with the two jobs, he dropped the graphics and went straight into people’s homes and restaurants, shucking furiously for the bivalve virgins of land locked Toronto.
Now run with the help of his close friends and family, Rodney and the Clark clan are proud to invite you to share the experience of “maritime hospitality” where good shellfish, prepared simply and knowledgeably, is the daily fare.
