THE 2014 ONTARIO OYSTER FESTIVAL SUNDAY JULY 20
If you want tickets before Sunday, you have to buy them here:
Otherwise, the action starts (as always) at 2pm in the laneway beside Rodney’s, at 469 King St. West. Tickets are $40 at the door, but only $32 (plus fees – grr) beforehand. That’s the price of a coffee you save!
Your ticket gets you two drinks and a plate of oysters (or other food – martian mussels or blue moon burger), and from there, food is $5, drinks are $3.50. And all profits go to support Environmental Defense, who have been our charity partner for over 20 years. That’s longer than some marriages! Lots of great beer, good wine from Cave Springs, a ‘Build your own Caesar’ station courtesy of Iceberg Vodka and Walter Caesar mix, fine food (lobsters for $20) and a nice afternoon. Live music from Ride the Tiger, Oyster Eating Challenge, live Auction, and the Chef’s Cup and OOF Invitational Shucking Contests. Wow! That’s terrific value! Bring yer friends; leave yer car at home.
