Join ‘Sake Samurai’ Patrick Ellis, Rodney’s GM Julius Chapple and a talented kitchen team for a nerdy night of small-plate seafood (and some land) paired with a great selection of premium sakes.

Patrick will speak to the production, character and style of the wines; Julius will speak to the sea.

This is a great chance to get a bit of grounding in a liquid that’s pretty inaccessible (especially if you don’t read Japanese!). And it pairs SO nicely with our food.

Some tables will be available for reservation after June 1 – until then, it’s first-come, first served.

Long before Rodney “The Oysterman” opened his first restaurant, he brought the magic of the mollusk to Upper Canadians in their homes and at their events. Good shellfish, prepared simply and knowledgeably, and served with Maritime hospitality were the cornerstones of this catering business – and these values still hold true today
